Thank You Tour in Ondo West During

In December 2025, the good people of Ondo West Local Government warmly welcomed the Executive Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, during his statewide "Thank-You" Tour.

The Governor used this special visit to thank the residents for their massive support. More importantly, he brought great news about new projects coming to our community. He assured the people of Ondo West that they will see a fresh wave of development and empowerment programs very soon.

To show his commitment, Governor Aiyedatiwa pointed out several projects that are already ongoing or completed right here in Ondo town. These include the construction of new roads, the fixing of bad roads, and the installation of new street lights to make our neighborhoods safer at night.

A major highlight of the day was the official commissioning of a brand new transformer at the civic centre. This much-needed transformer was generously donated by Hon. Abiola Makinde, the lawmaker representing the Ondo East/Ondo West federal constituency. The Governor noted that this will greatly improve electricity and make life easier for residents.

Speaking on behalf of the community, the Executive Chairman of Ondo West Local Government, Hon. Ayotunde Akinfolarin, alongside the Elected Vice Chairman, Alh. Hon. Oluwole Bashiru (Bantolee), expressed deep gratitude to the Governor.

Hon. Ayotunde Akinfolarin praised the state leadership for focusing on projects that directly touch the lives of the people at the grassroots. Together with Vice Chairman Alh. Hon. Oluwole Bashiru (Bantolee), the local administration promised to keep working closely with the State Government to ensure Ondo West continues to grow and prosper.
